Award Ceremony of the Media Contest on Adult Education
Georgian Adult Education Network (GAEN) has conducted the journalistic works competition "Reality and Problems of Adult Education in Georgia" in order to raise awareness on Adult Education issues for the third time. The journalistic works (print, electronic publication (article, essay), TV-radio story or reportage) published from January to November 10, 2017 were accepted in the contest. 17 journalists and free bloggers took part media competition this year. The works have been evaluated according to the preliminarily developed criteria by the jury composed of adult education experts and journalists.
Media Competition Award was held on November 30, 2017. The winner of this year's contest is Kristine Maglakelidze. Her article was published on the website of Radio Liberty: "Adult Education in Georgia". The winner was awarded with memorable prize, the certificate and cash award. Other participants of the competition were also awarded with the certificates. The Competition was held with the support of the institute for International Cooperation of the German Adult Education Association DVV-International Georgian Office.
The awarded ceremony was held at DVV International Office and the representatives of media and adult education organizations attended.
